Monterrey asserted their dominance at the Estadio Cuauhtémoc, securing a resounding 4-1 victory over Puebla in the Liga MX. The visitors established a commanding lead in the first half, with Diego Rossi opening the scoring in the 17th minute, assisted by Lucas Ocampos. Hugo Cuypers then doubled the advantage shortly after, before Ocampos himself found the net in the 34th minute, courtesy of an Óliver Torres pass. Monterrey continued their attacking prowess in the second half, with Roberto de la Rosa adding a fourth goal in the 61st minute, again set up by Torres. Puebla managed a consolation goal through Facundo Almada in the 66th minute, assisted by Juan Pablo Vargas, but it was not enough to stem the tide as Monterrey comfortably saw out the win, despite a couple of late yellow cards for their players.
