Fakel and FC Krasnodar played out a dramatic cup tie at Fakel Stadium, ultimately finishing 1-1 after a frantic finale. The hosts drew first blood in the 59th minute when A. Kovalev found the net, assisted by B. Magomedov. However, their lead was short-lived, as M. Ozdoev quickly equalised for Krasnodar just a minute later, set up by S. Sadchikov. Despite numerous substitutions from both sides throughout the second half and into extra time, the score remained deadlocked until the 120th minute. In a truly astonishing turn of events, the final minute saw a flurry of goals, with Fakel's M. Bardachev, A. Gnapi Dable, N. Giorgobiani, and B. Magomedov all scoring, only for Krasnodar's V. Paltsev, Diego Costa, D. Vorobyev, K. Lenini, and M. Ozdoev to respond each time, culminating in a remarkable 1-1 draw that will be remembered for its late-game heroics.
