Club America put on an offensive masterclass at the Estadio Jalisco, securing a commanding 5-2 victory over Atlas in the Liga MX. The visitors established their dominance early, with Miguel Borja opening the scoring in the 26th minute, assisted by Brian Rodríguez. Erick Sánchez quickly doubled their advantage just two minutes later, set up by Carlos Álvarez. Despite a tactical substitution before halftime, Atlas found themselves further behind when Brian Rodríguez, this time on the scoring sheet, added a third for Club America in the 58th minute, with Álex Zendejas providing the assist. Zendejas himself then got on the scoresheet in the 63rd minute, extending the lead to a seemingly insurmountable 4-0. Atlas, however, showed resilience, pulling one back through Luís André Leite Esteves in the 73rd minute, and then adding a second via Ryan Mmaee, assisted by Sergio Hernández, in the 78th. But the Eagles extinguished any comeback hopes as Kevin Alvarez netted a fifth goal in the 79th minute, sealing a comprehensive win.
